DPMS AR15 5.56 MOE – Product Overview
Barrel:
Chambered in 5.56 NATO, this 16” M4-profile barrel is constructed from 4150V chrome moly vanadium steel and finished in phosphate for corrosion resistance and durability. It features a 1:7 twist rate, M4 barrel extension, and a carbine-length gas system. The rifle is equipped with a low-profile .750” diameter gas block and a 13.5” DPMS M-Lok free-float handguard for improved handling and accessory compatibility.
Upper Receiver:
The upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and configured in an M4 flat-top style with feed ramps. It is finished with a hardcoat anodizing process for enhanced strength and wear resistance. This model does not include a forward assist or dust cover, maintaining a streamlined configuration.
Bolt Carrier Group (BCG):
This rifle features a full-auto profile bolt carrier group with a Carpenter 158 steel bolt finished in a mag phosphate coating for durability. The bolt carrier is constructed from 8620 steel and chrome-lined for reliable performance. The gas key is properly staked to ensure long-term reliability.
Lower Receiver:
The lower receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with hardcoat anodizing. It includes a standard AR-15 mil-spec fire control group and a mil-spec diameter 7075-T6 buffer tube with six-position adjustability. Furniture includes a PSA Classic Carbine stock. The rifle ships with one 30-round magazine where permitted by law.
